The Whistler Roasting Company Ltd. Is a family owned organic coffee roasting business operated by Sheila Sherkat and “Red Seal Chef d’cuisine” Mark Beaven, (Retired from the kitchen after almost 25 years in restaurants, starting out at The Deep Cove Chalet on Vancouver Island and finishing off at The Rim Rock Cafe in Whistler).
We began Production in 2004, sourcing and custom roasting single origin coffees and post blending by hand. All of our coffees are ethically produced, organic, shade grown and fairly traded We roast on demand to insure that our clients receive only the freshest coffee available in Whistler.
Currently our selection of beans are imported from Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa-Rica, Columbia, Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia, Sumatra, Ethiopia, Sumatra, and Papua New-Guinea.
Our motto is “ORGANIC COFFEE. ROASTED RIGHT. HERE.” We support sustainable business practices and are environmentally conscientious. Our mission is to provide locals and our visitors with only the best quality and the freshest roasted coffee available.

Whistler Chocolate was founded in November 2006 by adventure and chocolate loving Whistlerites. The goal was to combine our love of chocolate with our love for the Whistler lifestyle. We wanted to provide good quality organic chocolate for Whistler visitors and residents alike and at the same time infusing the fun and joyful lifestyle of Whistler in our packaging. And it worked!
